Chelsea Fire and Rescue Lt. Don Williamson, center, and Fire Chief Wayne Shirley, right, fill out a poster regarding public services and infrastructure at the city’s ACE Assessment on Jan. 18.
At its April luncheon, the Chelsea Business Alliance will hear a report from the City of Chelsea's ACE team captains.
The presentation is a follow-up to the city's Alabama Communities of Excellence assessment day in January, and it will serve as a kick-off to strategic planning, which is phase two of the three-phase process, said Chelsea City Council member Casey Morris.
Alabama Communities of Excellence, or ACE, is a certification program that assists communities with leadership development, strategic planning and comprehensive planning.
The luncheon will be April 11 at the Chelsea Community Center, starting at 11:30 a.m. It is $10 for members and $13 for non-members. To RSVP, email info@chelseabusinessalliance.org.
