From parades and snow to breakfast with Santa, there are plenty of ways for your whole family to get in the Christmas spirit with events along the 280 corridor.
Elves on the Shelves
► When: Nov. 27-Dec. 22
► Where: North Shelby Library and Mt Laurel libraries
► What: The North Shelby and Mt Laurel libraries are doing an Elf on the Shelf giveaway. To win one, visit a library on a Monday or check out their Facebook pages.
The elves will leave clues as to what they’ve been reading over the weekend, and participants can submit a guess in person or on Facebook once per week.
Each library will select two winners from the pool of correct guesses each week. Winners will be announced on Friday afternoons.
Cookies and Crafts
► When: Dec. 3, 6-8 p.m.
► Where: Mt Laurel Library
► What: The library will offer cookies, hot chocolate and a holiday craft for all ages. This event immediately follows the Mt Laurel Christmas tree lighting.
Breakfast with Santa
► When: Dec. 9, 9-10:30 a.m.
► Where: North Shelby Library
► What: Enjoy breakfast, pictures with Santa and a craft at the North Shelby Library.
Breakfast will be served from 9-9:30 a.m., followed by the chance to take a photo with Santa and complete a craft from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
Tickets are $5 per person and can be bought by calling or visiting the library. All ages are welcome.
Liberty ParkChristmas Parade
► When: Dec. 10, 2-4 p.m.
► Where: Liberty Park Sports Complex to Alston Meadows
► What: This parade winds through Liberty Park from the sports complex to Alston Meadows, which will host activities, refreshments, music and Santa pictures following the parade.
