Briarwood Girls Soccer State Championship 2017
The Briarwood girls soccer team competes against St. John Paul II during the AHSAA State Championship game on May 12, 2017 at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Al.
Following the 2017 high school soccer season, several local high school soccer players were recognized for their efforts throughout the season, evidenced by their presence on the coaches all-state and all-metro teams.
The all-state teams are split up by classification, and the all-metro squads combine players from all classes in the Birmingham area.
Briarwood's Sarah Adcock was named the Class 4A-5A state player of the year. Chelsea's Maddison Martin took home the same honor in Class 6A, with Julia Pack winning the 7A player of the year.
