The Oak Mountain Elementary School’s Parent Teacher Organization is hosting its 2017 Fall Fun Fest event Saturday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $13 for pre-paid wristbands and $15 at the door. more

​Parents, teachers and staff joined together at Oak Mountain Elementary School to make 5,000 meals May 20 as part of the Boosterthon National Giveback Day. More than 160,000 meals were made across the country in 22 cities for families in need. more

Held every year, the serve day is an opportunity to clean up in and around the school, from laying pinestraw and cleaning windows to collecting sticks and fixing the pond in the school’s patio area. more
