Belk hosts pink shopping event for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Belk at The Summit is holding an after-hours shopping event in support of breast cancer research.

The 10th annual Private Shopping Night is Sunday, Oct. 25 from 6:30-9 p.m. Tickets for the VIP shopping event cost $25 and can be pre-ordered online or purchased at the door.

All ticket sale proceeds from Private Shopping Night will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama (BCRFA).

“The BCRFA is elated to once again be part of this fabulous opportunity provided by Belk,” said BCRFA board of directors president Kate Kiefer. “This has become a ‘can’t miss’ event for our supporters and Belk fans.”

The event will have live music from Goodfellas, food by Kathy G & Company and beverages from United Johnson Brothers, Coca-Cola Bottling Company and AlaBev.

At the event, there will be savings throughout the store, free gift wrapping for purchases and $20 Belk gift cards to the first 50 attendees. With a $20 donation for a glass of champagne, an attendee will also receive the chance to win a 14 karat rose gold pendent. Door prizes will also be given out.
