Cool down this summer with festive — and simple — sweet treat

With summer now in full swing, we asked Bruster’s Real Ice Cream’s Caldwell Mill location for the best ice cream dish.

Becky Padgett suggested the All Star Ice Cream Sandwich, which she described as a fun and tasty product that acknowledges our country’s birthday.

Recipe:

• 2 chocolate cookies
• Bruster’s Vanilla Blast ice cream
•  Red and blue sprinkles

Steps:

1. Add 1 scoop of Vanilla Blast Ice Cream between two chocolate cookies.
2. Roll sandwich in assorted sprinkles.
3. Enjoy!
