Frontier Bank now Heritage Bank of the South

On March 8, LaGrange, Ga.-based Frontier Bank was seized and sold to Albany based HeritageBank of the South. Doors reopened in March under the new ownership.

All deposit accounts were transferred to HeritageBank of the South. Heritage Bank agreed to acquire all of Frontier’s $224.1 million in deposits and the majority of its $258.8 million in assets.
