New hotel opens at Colonnade/Grandview

A new hotel has joined a list of competitors in the Colonnade/Grandview area. Fairfield Inn & Suites began taking in guests Aug. 7. 

This is the second hotel by Ram Hotels to open in the area this year, with the first being the Home2 Suites, located next door to the Fairfield Inn, which opened May 10.

The hotel’s location gives its guests easy access to The Summit, Shoppes of the Colonnade, Grandview Medical Center and surrounding corporate park. It features a “modern calm” decor suited for business, family and sports travelers.

The hotel features 95 rooms and boasts amenities such as complimentary hot breakfast and wireless internet, onsite fitness and business center, guest laundry and an outdoor pool. 

There’s also a small market that has various drinks, snacks, frozen meals and incidentals that may have been forgotten, such as over-the-counter medicines or toothbrushes.

A unique element of the hotel comes from the farmhouse table in its lobby, where guests can come together during their stay.
