SBA economic injury disaster loans available in Shelby County

Loans up to $2 million for economic injury or disaster were made available to Alabama small businesses by the U.S. Small Business Administration following Secretary of Agriculture Disaster Declaration for a drought that began Nov. 15.

Businesses that qualify for the loans are small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and many non-profit organizations located in 26 Alabama counties including Shelby, according to SBA news releases.
