Town Builders Inc. selected for Southern Living Custom Builder Program

Birmingham builder Town Builders, Inc. has been selected to be a member of Southern Living’s Custom Builder Program, according to a press release. Town Builders is the exclusive builder for the Town of Mt Laurel.

Builders can apply to be a part of the program, which runs from March to March each year, and if selected receive exposure in Southern Living magazine, discounts on house plans and products and other benefits, according to the Southern Living website. Town Builders, Inc. is one of five Alabama builders to be in the program.

After applying, builders’ homes are reviewed to look for craftsmanship, excellence in architecture and home building that tells a Southern story, according to the program website.

“Only the finest custom homebuilders are invited to be a part of this one-of-a-kind program. Each member is reviewed based on their reputation among local building trade and consumers, strength in the marketplace, financial stability, and of course, customer service,” the website reads.

As a member of the program, Town Builders will have access to more than 1,000 exclusive house plans and will participate in a conference and workshops where they learn about new trends and technologies, according to a press release.

“This program is about connecting people who want their homes to have a distinctly Southern feel to builders who can provide them,” said Kristen Bryan, director of marketing for Southern Living. “We selected Town Builders, Inc. because we knew they would be able to bring high quality Southern homes to this community.”

Town Builders is excited to join the program, said Vice President Bryan Phillips.

“Southern Living is all about the southern charm and quality we pride ourselves in, so pairing up with them is a ‘no brainer,’” Phillips said in a press release. “Having close ties with industry leading building material sponsors and designers will better inform us of innovative products and designs, which in the end will be a great benefit to both our customers and our team.”
