Women in Business: Alicia Mooney - Cutstone Company

by

When remodeling or designing a kitchen, consumers are faced with several decisions.

That’s why Chelsea residents Bryan and Alicia Mooney of Cutstone Company want to make that process easier.

Alicia Mooney was a CPA when her husband, Bryan, started the company in 2005. She worked nights and weekends behind the scenes in the business while juggling a family of four kids. In 2015, she decided it was time to go full time to direct the office at the newly rebranded Cutstone Company.

The main goal is helping each client select the right stone surface to dress up their space and fall in love with their kitchen again.

“I love making customers happy and making them excited to come into their kitchen,” Alicia Mooney said.

Cutstone offers everything from basic granite to exotic natural stone to specialty engineered surfaces for projects in a residential or corporate setting.

The team at Cutstone will help designers and architects complete their vision for a space. The process begins by asking homeowners their plans for the surfaces and helps guide them to an appropriate choice that fits their lifestyle.

“We’re ready to step into that process wherever you are to help you get surfaces for your space,” Alicia Mooney said.

Cutstone offers a totally digital shop in Alabaster that is streamlined with high-end fabrication machines to provide accurate, efficient and on-time completion of projects.
