Women in Business: Wendy Hartley Gregerson - Attorney at Law

Wendy has worked in the legal field for 34 years. After 25 years handling personal injury cases as a paralegal, she decided to attend law school at Birmingham School of Law. 

She graduated in 2007 and, just two years later, opened her own practice.

She is located at Jared Square on Hwy. 280 and specializes in divorces. She also handles criminal cases, bankruptcies, wills, trusts and automobile accidents. She practices in Shelby, Jefferson and St. Clair counties and is licensed to practice in both federal and state courts.

“I love my job because I love helping others,” Wendy said. “Adoptions are my favorite cases because I have a very special place in my heart for children.”

Wendy can also relate to her clients on a personal level, as she raised two children by herself while working full time and attending college and law school. 

“I am committed to helping my clients through these difficult times,” she said. 

Wendy is a member of the Shelby County Bar Association, the Birmingham Bar Association and serves as a guardian ad litem, representing children in divorce proceedings.

She is a highly regarded lawyer within the city, being named in the “Top Women Attorneys” in 2015, 2016 and 2018. She is also the recipient of the Client Choice Award for AVVO, selected in B-Metro Magazine’s Top Lawyers in 2017 and 2018 and named in BHMBIZ Metro Birmingham Business Magazine as a Top Lawyer in August 2018.
