Dunnavant Valley development plan to be presented tonight

Shelby County Development Services staff will present the Dunnavant Valley Small Area Plan on Aug. 8. Residents and stakeholders are invited to attend and comment from 6-8 p.m. at the Mt. Laurel Elementary School Cafeteria.

During the presentation, County staff will discuss its draft plan, and a question and answer period will occur. Feedback regarding the proposed plan is encouraged and will be accepted through the end of August.

Following the presentation, the amended draft plan will be delivered to the Shelby County Planning Commission in October. The Shelby County Planning Commission is the final authority on the adoption of the plan.
