Oak Mountain High School was evacuated on Thursday due to a small electrical fire, according to a press release by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. Two maintenance workers received injuries, but the students were all evacuated safely.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Clay Hammac said it is too early to tell the cause of the fire, but firefighters were on the scene to assess the situation. School will be reopened soon for normal operations.
