North Shelby Baptist to host musical benefit

A musical fundraiser is planned for September 8 at North Shelby Baptist from 1 to 6 p.m. Oak Mountain High School sophomore Brooklyn Holt will host the event benefitting Children’s Miracle Network.

Brooklyn has competed in local pageants to raise awareness for her personal platform, “Raise Your Voice for Children.”  She recently recorded a ballad, “Raise Your Voice,” written by Anne Hartmann of Nashville and Ken Byford of Birmingham.

Admission to the fundraiser is $5 with 100 percent of all donations and CD sales benefitting Children’s Miracle Network.
