OMSP to host Easter Egg hunt

Oak Mountain State Park will welcome the coming of spring by hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sat., March 26 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The family-friendly event, now in its ninth year, will feature four hunts with a total of 12,000 eggs, and attendees are encouraged to bring their Easter baskets.

There will be hunts for children ages 5 and under at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and hunts for children ages 6 and up at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The event will also feature food vendors, an appearance by the Easter Bunny and such activities as hayrides and face painting.

The park — located at 200 Terrace Drive in Pelham — will offer a special admission rate of $10 per car from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
