The purrr-fect time to adopt

This month the Shelby County Humane Society is making adoptions easier on future pet owners and their wallets. The shelter is running an Independence Day deal the entire month of July.

All adoptions in the shelter are only $17.76 in July in order to "form a more perfect union for approved adopters and deserving pets." Adoption fees are waived for all active military personnel and veterans as well.

Adoption hours at the shelter are 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The Shelby County Humane Society is located at 381 McDow Road in Columbiana.
