Robbery reported at U.S. 280 Marathon gas station

A clerk at the Marathon Station on U.S. 280 was robbed at gunpoint on Friday, Nov. 13.

The robbery occurred at 9:20 p.m., and an unknown male pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the clerk and ordered him to open the cash drawer. The suspect left after taking an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect then got in a late `80s or `90s gold or brown Buick driven by an “older” white male, according to police. The vehicle left the Marathon station driving westbound on U.S. 280.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect while he was inside the store. He was wearing a black hoodie.
