Shelby County homeowners awoke early this morning to find two unknown men in their home. The men fled and are currently at large, according to a release from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, sheriff’s office deputies responded to a burglary report at a home on Emerald Circle in North Shelby County. The homeowners reported waking up and seeing two unknown men in their house, one reportedly wearing a mask and possibly armed with a gun.

The two suspects fled the area in the homeowners’ white pickup truck, a 2012 Ford F150 with license plate 7242AD9. The truck has been entered as a stolen vehicle into a national system.

After the victims called 911, deputies were unable to locate the vehicle and the suspects are both still at large, according to the release. No injuries were reported, and investigators are continuing to work the case.
