Shoal Creek resident wins bridge championship

Shoal Creek resident Emily Harrell recently won her first North American Bridge Championship title.

Harrell competed in Whitehead Women’s Pairs event at the Fall North American Bridge Championships in Denver, Colorado from Nov. 26 to Dec. 6. The event was one of 14 championship-level bridge events.

Harrell played with her bridge partner Benedicte Cronier of Paris, France.

The NABCs are held three times a year across the United States and Canada, and there are events for varying skill levels. The Spring NABCs will be held in Reno, Nevada this March.
