Spain Park, Vestavia Hills Key Clubs to hold Dashing for Dialysis 5K Saturday

The Key Clubs at Spain Park and Vestavia Hills high schools are partnering to hold a 5K and 1-miile fun run at Veterans Park this Saturday to benefit the dialysis center at Children’s of Alabama hospital in Birmingham.

The Dashing for Dialysis run is set for 8:30 a.m. at the park at 4800 Valleydale Road in front of Spain Park High School.

Runners can register online or at Veterans Park on race day, starting at 7:45 a.m. The cost is $25 for ages 12 and older and $15 for children 11 and younger.

The benefit run is designed to help the Alabama Key Club District Board meet its pledge of $60,000 for the dialysis center at Children’s of Alabama by the end of February.
