Due to COVID-19, the King’s Home Shelby Auxiliary will host their annual TableScapes luncheon fundraiser virtually. The event will begin April 27 and end May 6.

The theme of this year’s luncheon is Beauty for Ashes. Tablescapes will be able to be viewed and voted on, along with silent auction items and special speakers.

Pam Bradford, treasurer of the 2020-21 King’s Home Shelby Auxiliary said this is the auxiliary’s largest fundraiser of the year, and they hope to raise $50,000.

The Mission of King's Home Shelby Auxiliary is to provide support to the women and children of Kings Home Shelby who have been victims of domestic abuse, drug abuse or other violence.

The money raised all goes back to support the non-profit, which helps battered and abused women learn job skills and find freedom in Jesus Christ.

This year’s silent auction will be done online and the auction items are donated from local businesses and other personal donations.

“Everything will be online this year,” Bradford said. “The items are there, but all of the bidding will be done online this year. I think it will make it simpler and maybe we will get higher bids.”

Registration and donations can also be made tabelscapes.givesmart.com or text tablescapes to 7-6278.
