The eighth annual Walk with Me event, brought to the community by Easter Seals of the Birmingham Area, will take place April 12 at Veterans Park. The event features a 1-mile Family Fun Walk and 5K. Registration will take place from 6:30-7:45 a.m., and the 5K will begin at 8 a.m. The Family Fun Walk will begin at 9 a.m. There will also be face painting, moonwalks, cotton candy and popcorn.
