6 Boy Scouts earn prestigious Eagle Scout

Six Boy Scouts have earned the prestigious Eagle Scout, Boy Scout’s highest honor. These Scouts have participated and earned all required merit badges over the past four years.  Troop 71 is a North Shelby troop, associated with Our Lady of the Valley, on Highway 119.

The Scouts earning Eagle Scouts are: Anthony Goodman, age 17, Andrew Guillory, age 16, Nicholas Wozniak,age 17, Austin Saab, age 17, Dawson Stossel, age 15, and Devon Peterson, age 17.  Over 150 merit badges were earned by these six Scouts.  

With the addition of these Eagle Scouts, Our Lady of the Valley has 83 Eagle Scouts in the history of the troop.
