Cain achieves Eagle

Parker Cain, 17, was recently awarded the rank of Eagle Scout by the Boy Scouts of America. Cain is a member of Troop 538 out of Asbury United Methodist Church.

Parker received the Order of the Arrow and Triple Crown of Scouting. His Eagle Scout project consisted of building a pig shelter and goat house for the Oak Mountain State Park Farm. He completed all requirements in 2012 during the Eagle Scout Centennial.

Parker is a senior at Oak Mountain High School. He is a section leader in the Spirit of Cahaba Marching Band and Wind Ensemble as well as member of the National Honor Society, German National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Ro Kappa.
