Chelsea to host Big Kaboom on June 30

The City of Chelsea's annual fireworks show is set to take place in about a month. 

Chelsea Fest and the Big Kaboom will take place June 30, starting at 5 p.m., in the field behind Dairy Queen. This will be the second year for Chelsea Fest, which last year attracted about 2,500 people despite cloudy skies and an eventual downpour of rain.

The event is set to include a kid zone, food trucks, arts and crafts, a kids bicycle parade and a performance by the Compozitionz before and after the fireworks show.
