Spain Park student represents Shelby County as Distinguished Young Woman

by

Estill will spend her year as DYW representative speaking about the “Be Your Best Self” program, which promotes excellence in being healthy, involved, studious, ambitious and responsible. She will use this platform as she talks to children and adults alike, and she will make appearances in Christmas parades across Shelby County.

Another major part of Estill’s year will be spent preparing for the Distinguished Young Woman Program of Alabama, which takes place in January.

Estill is involved with the SPHS Peer Helper and Teens Need Teens programs, she is a company member at The Pointe Dance Arts and a Spain Park High School Ambassador. She is on the Honors Council, in the French Club and Key Club, as well as part of the Alabama Federation of French Clubs Competitors and a recipient of the Finley Award. In her spare time, Estill is a volunteer for Mitchell’s Place, Magic Moments and so much more.
