Asbury United Methodist Church is hosting its semi-annual Giggles and Grace Consignment Sale this fall. The sale will take place Friday, Sept. 8 from 8 a.m. — 6 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. - noon.

The consignment sale, which raises money for the Asbury UMC Children’s Ministry and its various mission projects, relies on volunteers who donate their time and consignors who sell their possessions. Those who volunteer or sell also get to shop the sale early on Thursday night.

Anyone looking to shop will receive deals throughout the day Friday and Saturday.

Most items for sale will be children’s clothing, toys, books, baby furniture, shoes, and other items. Items left on Saturday will be an additional 50 percent off.

Mission opportunities will also be taking place during the Giggles and Grace sale. Asbury’s food pantry will be collecting can goods and non-perishable items. Asbury is also looking for gently used shoes and socks for the Navajo Mission Life Center in Cuba, Mexico.

Other details will be posted closer to the sale date. Updates can be found on the Giggles and Grace Consignment Sale website, asburygigglesandgrace.com, and the “Asbury Gigglesand Grace” Facebook page. Updates can also be found on the Asbury UMC website, asburyonline.org/gigglesandgrace.

Those looking to donate their possessions or volunteer their time can find instructions and forms on both the Asbury UMC and the Giggles and Grace website.
