Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church held its seventh annual Feast of Saint Mark on April 28. The event started with an early Saturday mass, held at 3 p.m., and was followed by plenty of food, kids activities and entertainment.

Foods included varieties of pasta, artisanal cheeses, pizza, gelato and shaved ice from local establishments.

The goal of the event was to recognize the story of Saint Mark the Evangelist; help educate the understanding of the Catholic faith; be genuine and authentic to Italian culture; and provide a multi-generational and enriching experience for attendees, among others, according to the event website.
