League raises $4k for research

The New Neighbors League Club of Birmingham recently raised $4,000 for autism research at UAB. Dr.

Rajesh K. Kana, in the UAB Department of Psychology, attended the club’s May luncheon at The Club and was presented a check by NNLC President Nancy Ladshaw. The club raised the funds by sponsoring a mah-jongg tournament in April with more than 75 women in attendance.
