Make Way Partners celebrates 10 years

Make Way Partners (MWP), a Chelsea-based, Christian nonprofit organization that provides support to missions in areas vulnerable to human trafficking, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this month.

After founding the organization a decade ago, founders Milton and Kimberly L. Smith led MWP to North and South Sudan where they have built an anti-trafficking network that provides  care for more than 1,000 orphans and former slaves.

In 2012, MWP expanded its ministry into the highlands of Peru, which are considered some of the poorest areas where children are most vulnerable to trafficking.
