Mt Laurel Farmers Market is embracing the full swing of summer with more and more vendors.

On Saturday, July 8, a total of 15 vendors braved the heat to sell fresh foods, handcrafted items and a few different styles of jewelry at the weekly Mt Laurel Farmers Market. Several of the vendors remarked that so far this year, they've usually had seven or eight people selling produce or crafts, but this Saturday brought twice as many vendors, which they hope to see for the rest of the season.

Farmers from a few different farms sold fresh produce, pickled vegetables and baked goods, while craft vendors sold items ranging from woodworks to fashionable headbands to homemade jewelry. Burley Girl Farm sold bouquets of freshly picked flowers and homemade jams. Tarez Kitchen sold several variations of black-eye bean salsa.

A popular baked good booth was Gluten-free Goodies, which offered a plethora of samples of artisan baked goods that were made using gluten-free ingredients.

Mt. Laurel Farmers Market takes place in the Tour of Mt Laurel at 5 Mt. Laurel Ave along Highway 280. It is every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon from the first Saturday in June through mid-October. Pets are allowed.
