Wings Over Oak Mountain to be rescheduled

The Wings Over Oak Mountain event set for May 1-3 will be rescheduled following a decision by Alabama Wildlife Center Executive Director Doug Adair and state park officials. 

The decision was reached after the announcement that 15 state parks might close due to cuts in the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources budget. Though Oak Mountain State Park is not one of the 15, chances that the park might still be affected by the cuts lead to the rescheduling of the event.
