OMHS student earns All-American honors

Trey Allen of Oak Mountain High School earned All-American honors at the New Balance Nationals in North Carolina in June.

Allen eclipsed 6 feet, 10.25 inches in the high jump to finish fifth out of 30 participants, improving on the 6-10 he jumped at the Class 7A outdoor state track and field meet. Allen is a dual-sport athlete at Oak Mountain, participating on both the track and football teams.
