Mt Laurel Elementary School wins 1st place at county fair

Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Shelby County Fair was an anticipated day for the fifth-grade student council members at Mt Laurel Elementary School. These students were challenged with creating a booth portraying the theme “Taste the Past and the Future.” 

They met Saturday morning, Oct. 1, to put their ideas into action as they constructed the display. The students took home the first-place ribbon.
