On Sept. 27, Chrysler brand provided Greystone Elementary with a $3,000 check as a runner up recipient in a recent grand prize sweepstakes, Cars for Classrooms fundraiser, hosted by Chrysler brand.

On Jan. 20, 2018, between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m., Benchmark Chrysler hosted a Chrysler Cars 4 Classrooms fundraiser for Greystone Elementary students.

During the Chrysler Cars 4 Classrooms event, parents and friends of the school had the opportunity to earn a $10 contribution, up to $2,000, for Greystone Elementary students by taking a brief test drive in the all-new Chrysler Pacifica and Pacifica Hybrid — the only hybrid minivan available on the market. The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica was awarded the title of 2018 Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy in the Minivan as well as in the Family Vehicle categories for the second consecutive year.

Any licensed driver age 18 or older could drive and earn $10 on the school’s behalf. Benchmark Chrysler provided vehicles and staff to assist drivers with fundraising test drives.

The Chrysler Cars 4 Classrooms initiative, in collaboration with the National PTA and Chrysler dealerships, supports local PTAs and schools across the country by involving family in matters of education and raising important funding for their local schools.

The Chrysler brand also offered Greystone Elementary a chance to earn an additional $1,000 and enter a grand prize sweepstakes for up to $7,000 in additional funding by simply sharing photos from the event on a public Facebook account within one week of the fundraiser’s date and incorporating the provided customized hashtag for Greystone Elementary and tagging @Chrysler.
