OMHS ranked fifth overall high school in the state

U.S News ranked Oak Mountain High School number five in its "Best High Schools in Alabama" rankings.

The rankings were based on students taking the Alabama High School Graduation Exam, which consists entirely of multiple-choice questions. Students must demonstrate specific skills in English, such as citing sources and analyzing plays, and take certain math classes, such as precalculus.
