Sheryl Jones becomes OMMS assistant principal

Former Oak Mountain Middle School teacher Sheryl Jones will be returning to the school to serve as the new assistant principal. 

Jones has 24 years of experience in education and most recently served as the assistant principal at Calera Middle School. 

She earned a bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts from Samford University and a master’s degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of Montevallo.
