Briarwood’s Tyler Waugh receives national honor

Tyler Waugh, a student at Briarwood Christian School, has been selected as a National High School Scholar.

The society recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship and community involvement.

The NSHSS recognizes Tyler for his hard work, sacrifice, character and commitment that he has demonstrated to achieve not only in school but also his community.

Tyler is a member of National Honor Society, Mu-Alpha Theta, Spanish Honor Society, Student Ambassador and a Furman Scholar.

Tyler is a two sport All-State baseball, player captain and football player. His future plans are to play ball in college and major in biomedical sciences and attend medical school.
