Altamont senior signs D1 volleyball letter of intent with Georgia Tech

On National Signing Day, Nov. 8, Altamont senior and 280 corridor resident Breland Morrissette inked a letter of intent to play NCAA Division I volleyball for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Breland played volleyball as an Altamont Knight in grades 7-9. She trained and played year-round with Southern Performance Volleyball Academy her sophomore through senior year. In 2017, Breland was a member of the AAU National Championship 17s squad.

A 6-foot-1 middle blocker, Breland intends to major in biomedical engineering at Georgia Tech.
