Briarwood Christian hosts Chelsea in 6A baseball playoffs

The Class 6A fifth-ranked Briarwood Christian Lions host the Chelsea Hornets in the first round of the state baseball playoffs Friday.

The Lions (20-6) and the Hornets (19-16) square off at 5 p.m. in a doubleheader in the best-of-three series. The third game, necessary if the teams split the twinbill, would be Saturday at 5 p.m.
