Chelsea Hornets need big second half of ball season

by

Even with a losing record through the first half of the season, the Hornets can still end up near the top of its region with a strong finish.

Four out of its eight games in April are regional games for Chelsea. For the Hornets to have a chance in the postseason, it needs to be a mirror image of the first half of the season.

The 2013 Hornets are led by Head Coach Michael Stallings and left-handed pitcher Tripp Hobbs, who signed a letter of intent to play baseball with The University of South Alabama in February.

The Hornets’ regular season will end with a double header on Monday, April 15, against the Childersburg Tigers.
