Hoover 12U Strykers win USSSA Recreational Softball World Series

The Hoover 12U Strykers softball team this weekend was named World Series champions for their age group in the recreational league for the United States Specialty Sports Association.

The Strykers defeated a team from Hueytown twice in a row to claim the championship at the World Series in Gulf Shores, said John Parker, president of the Hoover Softball Association.
