Eagles to face second round of playoffs

Oak Mountain (10-1) travels to Gadsden City (9-2) for a Class 7A state playoff second round game. The Eagles are coming off an amazing 60-43 comeback win over James Clemens. The Eagles trailed 28-0 with barely a quarter gone but rallied to outscore the Jets 60-15 over the final three quarters. Harold Shader rushed for 281 yards and five touchdowns and brother Warren Shader rushed for 154 yards and three TDs and passed to Daniel Salchert for the Eagles' other TD. Friday's game at Titans Stadium in Gadsden kicks off at 7 p.m. Admission is $8.The winner of this game faces the winner of the Hoover-Tuscaloosa County game in the semifinals.
