Pair of Chelsea volleyball players sign

Following a big season on the volleyball court for Chelsea High School, a pair of Lady Hornets are continuing their careers in college.

Taylor Hackett recently signed with Gadsden State Community College. In her career at Chelsea, Hackett compiled 1,100 assists, 353 kills, 672 digs, 157 aces and 37 blocks. For her senior campaign -- in which Chelsea went 33-9 -- she racked up 347 assists and 225 digs.

Lexie Riggins also signed last month, with Wallace State Community College.
