Bewhoyouwannabe Back-to-School celebration

The event features FOX 6’s JehJeh Pruitt as emcee, 8-year NFL veteran and Alabama Crimson Tide star Patrick Hape, Dr. Kathy Murphy, Superintendent, Hoover City Schools, and Dr. Robert Morgan, Executive Director of Innovation Initiatives at the University of Alabama. 

The event signals the birth of a partnership between GradePower and The Mattie C. Stewart Foundation, founded by Birmingham icon Dr. Shelley Stewart. The Foundation’s mission is to provide tools and resources to improve K-12 education outcomes and reduce the national dropout rate. BewhoyouwannabeTM and “The Choice Bus” are two initiatives launched by the Foundation since its inception in 2007.
