Chelsea Christmas Village Arts and Crafts Show
Chelsea Community Center 11101 Hwy 47, Chelsea, Alabama 35043
That morning, the Chelsea Christmas Village Arts and Crafts Show, sponsored by the Yellowleaf Ridge Estates Homeowners Association, will open at 9 a.m. While the event has typically taken place in the field on Shelby 47, just behind Dairy Queen, it is moving indoors this year and will be up the road at the S. Earl Niven Community Center.
A variety of vendors, from sweet treats to makeup to handmade gifts, will be at the Christmas Village.
Also at the community center, there will be bounce houses and visitors from Santa Claus and other children’s characters. As in years past, all funds raised through the Christmas Village will benefit the Yellowleaf Ridge Estates Dogwood Creek Project.
The Chelsea Christmas Village will take place in conjunction with the city’s Christmas Parade, which starts at 10 a.m. Floats will start at Chelsea Middle School and reach the end of the route at Chelsea Corners Way and the Winn-Dixie parking lot. The grandstand will be in the field behind Winn-Dixie.
Celebrations at the community center will take place before, during and after the parade.
