In July of 1971, ENT Associates of Alabama, P.C. started out with 2 physicians, including Dr. Morton Goldfarb, who just retired in December after practicing medicine for more than 5 decades.
Over the past 50 years, the practice has grown substantially, from a single office with eight employees to 10 convenient locations across Central Alabama and close to 100 employees.
“We are now the largest ear, nose, and throat specialty practice in Alabama; however, one thing has not changed, and that is the way we care for our patients,” said Dianne Williams, CEO of ENTAA. “We provide the best, most up-to-date care; that has always been and will remain our top priority at ENTAA.”
One of the main reasons ENTAA has been so successful is because of its staff. Over two dozen of its employees have been with the company for more than 20 years, and Dianne said they treat each other like family.
Most of the patients at ENTAA are referrals from friends, family and other providers in the community who have come to know and trust that whomever they refer will receive the best care possible at ENTAA.
“Additionally, we are always investing in ongoing education and state-of-the-art technology,” Dianne said. “We have close relationships with many large and small ENT practices all over the United States, and we are heavily involved with global ENT organizations on the physician and administrative levels. Being involved nationally and globally allows us to stay on top of the most current procedures, treatments, and recommendations, and provide all of the necessary services that our patients require.”
The physicians of ENTAA believe that a positive experience is important to both patients and staff. Dianne said they do their best to create a balance that includes excellent care in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.
