○ Grades: Walking to adult
Q: What kind of competitive teams do you offer?
A: We're starting our second season of Gymnastics Team competition and doubled our team size. In addition to our girls' team, we have one boy and an adult competing as well. Our competition is a bit different from most gyms as we require fewer practice hours and compete under a different organization so our gymnasts have happier and healthier training and competitive environments and families have more time together.
Q: Tell us about your homeschool educational classes.
A: We're offering Spanish for adults and students 3rd grade and up along with Sign Language, Music for ages 3-5, and Musical Theatre for ages 6-12. We started with Spanish and Sign Language last year and are excited to offer more options this year with hopes to expand our offerings in the future. Q: What are the benefits of recreational gymnastics classes?
A: Our recreational classes serve many happy gymnasts. The types of movement gymnastics offers is amazing for everyone! Development is top-notch because everyone needs to flip, jump, twist, turn, pull, kick, swing and tumble for vestibular and fine and gross motor development. We use muscles they ordinarily wouldn’t engage otherwise. These gymnasts have a strong advantage over their health, development, and physical and mental well-being because of gymnastics, and it’s fun! The attributes our gymnasts develop and enhance in the gym serve them for a lifetime in all aspects of their lives giving them tools to succeed. Gymnastics is even recommended for other sports because it improves the athletes' abilities and makes a real difference in their successes. Plus, I want everyone to know there's no stereotypical gymnast. Anyone can enjoy and be successful in gymnastics.
