Oak Mountain State Park will host Archery 101 on Saturday, April 11, at 11 a.m. at the Community Archery Range.
The program introduces participants to archery fundamentals, including equipment use, safety, stance and shooting techniques. Led by trained park staff, the session is designed for beginners and emphasizes safety, focus and outdoor ethics.
The program is free with paid park admission and open to participants ages 16 and older, though those 16 and up must have a fishing or heritage license to use the archery range.
Participants should meet at the Oak Mountain Interpretive Center prior to the session.
